The 13th annual Barry Naimark Charity Skins will be hosted by The Vancouver Curling Club on March 2009. Barry was a member of our club who became a world curling champion in 1964.
All proceeds raised by the event will be donated to a charity pre-approved by our Board of Directors. The local registered charity for the 2009 event is Talitha Koum. Talitha Koum is a spiritual recovery house for women who have been in conflict with society, with three residential houses in the lower mainland.
This event will feature cash prizes available for each end of curling, a banquet on the Saturday night and many more great activities on and off the ice.
The event is at The Vancouver Curling Club on March 12-15, 2009
