Batman, 'The Dark Knight' in Eco-trouble

Batman, The Dark Knight, is in eco-trouble with environmentalists.

The movie's producers asked residents, along a waterfront in Hong Kong, to keep their lights on at night for a whole week whilst filming the upcoming blockbuster, to give the glass and steel skyline a better affect at night.

At a time when the world's residents are being asked to reduce the consumption of energy, environmentalists are understandably up in arms.

The makers of Batman, The Dark Knight starring Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, October Pictures, made no comment.
