Tiger Woods to host Target World Challenge golf tournament in December

Tiger Woods will host the Target World Challenge golf tournament at the Sherwood Country Club in December. The tournament, which is considered an unofficial money event by the PGA tour, is made up of the defending champion, eleven top ranked golf players and four special invitees.
The tournament not only raises money for the Tiger Woods Foundation, but because there are only sixteen golfers and prize money worth over five million dollars, it is quite lucrative for the golfers. Tiger Woods donates all his prize money to his foundation.
This year’s tournament will take place December 13th to 17th in Thousand Oaks, California.
