Jay-Z is putting on a concert called “H 2 the IzzO” that will promote his “Water For Life” campaign which he is jointly promoting with MTV and the U.N.
Jay-Z the hip hop mogul who is also the CEO of Def Jam music says that he decided to promote clean water access after discovering more than a billion people in the world lack access to clean drinking water.
PlayPumps International is a non-profit collaborative which will benefit from the concert. PlayPumps enables individuals, governments, foundations and companies to donate PlayPump water systems to rural communities and schools.
The water systems draw clean water as children utilize playground equipment such as a merry-go-round, which generates water flow into a storage tank and is easily accessed with the turn of a tap.
