Prince William and Prince Harry are planning a charity ’super concert’ to honor the memory of their mother Princess Di

The super concert is planned for July 1 2007 at the new Wembley stadium. The date of the concert would have been Princess Diana’s 46th birthday and comes a few weeks before the 10th anniversary of her death on Aug. 31.
Stars to be considered would be Elton John (which would include a performance of ‘Candle in the Wind’), Beyoncé, Kylie Minogue and George Michael.
The princes will host the event to a worldwide audience.
The princes aim to make the concert an ‘upbeat, joyous tribute’ to their Princess Diana’s life and work. Any proceeds would go to a selection of charitable organizations which are likely to be those favored by Diana.
Princess Diana’s favorite charities included work to ban landmines and educational programs for AIDS, and Centrepoint, the homeless charity.
