On April 13th the New Jersey Nets will dunk, dribble, and drive up against the New York Knicks for the first ever Parkinson’s Awareness Night.
Team Fox (The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research) and The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation have lined up and drafted the two NBA sides to play a charity basketball game, raising funds for the awareness of Parkinson’s disease.
Playing for the Nets will be no. 5 Jason Kidd, no. 24 Vince Carter and no. 15 Richard Jefferson and on the opposing court, no. 1 Steve Francis, no. 3 Stephon Marbury and the rest of the team will represent the Knicks.
The game will be played at New Jersey’s home court, the Continental Airlines Arena.
And you never know what the night’s highlights will be. There might even be some Teen Wolf type action.
$10 from each ticket sold for the New Jersey Nets Vs the New York Knicks charity game - The Parkinson’s Awareness Night will go to benefit Parkinson’s disease, through Team Fox and The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
