Global Cool, a charity endeavor set up to counteract global warming, is gaining massive momentum and signing people up to order monthly texts featuring messages from their favourite celebrities.
The Scissor Sisters, Rosario Dawson, Josh Hartnett and Sienna Miller are just some of the stars that will be appearing on mobile phones all over the world, with tips and tools on how to be cool and slow down global warming.
Global Cool has also united artists like The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bloc Party, Wolfmother, The Killers, Lily Allen, Jet, Groove Armada and Sonic Youth to promote their global green crusade in a series of videos you can watch on their website, as well as organizing live concerts featuring acts like Maroon 5 and Kasabian.
And hundreds of other celebrities have joined in support of the initiative including Orlando Bloom and Leonardo Dicaprio, ensuring that Global Cool’s effect on the general public is a sutainable, long-lasting one.
Global Cool is solely focused on publicising solutions to climate change. By donating to the cause or buying monthly texts you’ll also be helping to slow down and reverse climate change through Global Cool’s investments in United Nations-scientifically-approved renewable energy projects.
