Banners Against Poverty is attempting to set a Guinness World Record, creating the world’s biggest banner for Make Poverty History, and they need everyone’s help.
All over the world people are making poverty-themed banners, as many as possible (of white cloth, 3m long by 1m high) to send to Melbourne, Australia, to be joined together, making the biggest banner ever.
Make Poverty History for Banners Against Poverty hopes that the banner will be a phenomenal show of support for the world’s poor and call world leaders everywhere to Make Poverty History.
Banners Against Poverty with Make Poverty Hisory will display the banners on October 17.
