Charity Gala Ballet in Japan

Ballerinas performed Glazunov’s Les Sylphides ballet at a charity gala performance in Japan.
Dancers from all over the world, and principals from Japan, practiced points, positions and pirouettes as be part of a three day event held for four charities; The Stephen Lewis Foundation, Japan for UNHCR, Africa Japan Forum and Médecins du Monde.
Japanese luminaries, including Yoichi Kobayashi attended the event, which also included a film festival, photographic exhibition, open to the public rehearsal, ballet panel discussion, VIP champagne reception and a silent auction.
The Charity Gala Performance event in Japan was held earlier this week.
