Oxfam Australia National Close the Gap Day

Ian Thorpe, John Butler, Cathy Freeman and Missy Higgins have shown their support for Oxfam Australia’s National Close the Gap Day, a day focusing on closing the 17-year life expectancy gap between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and other Australians.
There are events happening all around Australia, as well as an online pledge to sign, and e card you can send to family and friends to show your support for the initiative.
Oxfam Australia’s National Close the Gap Day is on September 18.
