As if it’s not bad enough to have the terrible California wildfires blazing across the US, there are charity scams that seek to take advantage of the tragedy.
Officials are warning people to beware of bogus charities soliciting funds on behalf of California wildfire victims.
They also add that unfortunately charity scams are common during and after disasters.
