The Queen and the royal family led Remembrance Day services in the UK yesterday, with Prince William attending for the first time, paying respect to not only the thousands of men and women killed serving their Countries in war, but to two of the young men he personally served with in the armed forces .
Services were held all over the Commonwealth and hundreds of thousands of people wore poppies and stopped still at 11AM for a minute of silence.
Remembrance Day has been observed in the Commonwealth since World War I.
