50th Grammy Awards MusiCares Person of the Year Aretha Franklin

Seventeen-time Grammy Award winning artist, Aretha Franklin will be honored at the 2008 MusiCares Person of the Year dinner and concert held to coincide with the 50th Grammy Awards.
The women who demanded just a little bit of Respect, Aretha Franklin will be honored for her achievements in music as well as charity.
She has been involved with charity efforts for Save The Children, Easter Seals and various other church and food bank appeals.
The 50th Grammy Awards MusiCares Person of the Year dinner and concert honoring Aretha Franklin is on February 8, 2008.
