Kylie Minogue and Ian McKellen Make the Queen’s 2008 Honours List

Kylie Minogue, as well as Ian McKellen (Gandalf from Lord of the Rings) and Michael Parkinson will receive OBEs after making the Queen’s 2008 Honors List.
Kylie, a cancer survivor, is to be honored for her contribution to music, and the already knighted Ian will be named a Companion of Honor.
Kylie Minogue, Ian McKellen and Michael Parkinson are just some of the film stars, TV personalities, musicians, artists, authors, designers, sports stars, businessmen, teachers, bus drivers, and members of the Queen’s staff to make the Queen’s New Year’s Honors List.
