Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd, Johnny Depp has made a $2.2 million donation to the hospital that saved his daughter, Lily-Rose’s life.
The Pirates of the Caribbean world renowned actor made a secret trip to Great Ormond Street Hospital on Tuesday to personally hand over the huge sum of money as a thank you for saving Lily-Rose from E.Coli poisoning last year.
But that’s not all, in November the Hollywood heart throb spent four hours at the hospital dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow to read bedtime stories to patients, and also invited five doctors and nurses from the hospital to last week’s London premiere of Sweeney Todd.
Johnny Depp’s $2.2 million donation will go a long way to support other children and families through illness.

I hope all goes well with your daughter. You made such a wonderful decision on how to use your money. Most people don’t realize the change they can do by helping others. Thank god for people like you and god bless you. Have a wonderful day today and always.
