Australians cleaning up on Clean Up Australia Day, 2008

Australians all over their wide, brown land are out since dawn cleaning up Australia.
In parks, riverbeds, roadsides and in their local neighbourhoods they’re picking up litter and tidying up.
It’s not too late if you live in Australia. If you haven’t joined a clean-up group, do a little or a lot extra just around where you live.
Next year, join Clean Up Australia 2009.
And, if you live in other countries, contact Clean Up Australia and see if you can set up Clean Up!
