Thursday, April 17th, 2008 by magenta 0 comments to this post
Last year John Butler and Keith Urban recorded a song together to raise funds and awareness for National Close the Gap Day, this year Missy Higgins took a trip to the Redfern Aboriginal Medical Service to encourage Aussies to support the event.
National Close the Gap Day is an initiative encouraging Australians to get together and help raise the life expectancy gap of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, a difference of 17 years.
There are heaps of events happening around Australia for National Close the Gap Day on April 22.
