AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf is the first Ambassador for the Goal4Africa campaign, expected to attract a massive amount of support and funds for charity.
The program, to kick off in less than two months, will be run in the two years up to and in association with the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
The idea behind the campaign is to have fans donate funds via text or online for every goal scored by their favorite pro or amateur team.
As Ambassador Clarence Seedorf is urging players to incorporate a new goal celebration, raising their arms to look like the number 4 in promotion of the Goal4Africa campaign.
