Smurfs Anniversary European Tour

2008 marks 50 years of the Smurfs and for their anniversary the little blue male dominated race are taking a round trip tour of Europe.
The cartoon characters, originally from Belgium, secretly move into a city and fan out on a famous landmark with just enough time to take a picture for the site, so fans can vote on the best one.
At the same time, their arrival is announced with a celebrity Smurf and an expo.
The celebrity Smurfs are later auctioned off for charity.
The Smurfs have also partnered with UNICEF for their anniversary and are selling figurines of themselves to help raise funds for the global aid organization.
