Miss Venezuela Crowned Miss Universe 2008

Dayana Mendoza, Miss Venezuela has been crowned Miss Universe 2008.
The 22 year-old will continue Miss Universe 2007, Riyo Mori’s work traveling around the globe to promote education and HIV/AIDS awareness.
Judges at the pageant included Donald Trump Jr., Roberto Cavalli and a former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins, while Jerry Springer and Mel B hosted the telecast of the charitable event.
‘I am excited. I cried a lot. I am really glad I made it,’ Miss Venezuela, the newly crowned Miss Universe 2008 said after the crowning.
