Oprah Winfrey Auctions Cars for Charity

Oprah Winfrey, a leader in the move towards charity and humanitarianism, is gearing up to auction off three cars to benefit the annual Arts and Culture Workshop at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls.
Gooding & Company will oversee the auction of a red ‘54 Mercedes once owned by the DuPont family, an ‘88 Rolls Convertible given to her by John Travolta and a ‘97 Aston Martin.
$100 will secure a catalog, viewing and auction admission for two, $40 will get you in the door.
Oprah Winfrey’s cars will be auctioned at Pebble Beach on August 16 and 17.
