Don King at the Beijing Olympics to Announce Charity Bout for China

Don King was at the Beijing Olympics announcing plans for a charity bout to be held in China to raise funds to help rebuild Chengdu.
The world renowned boxing promoter was also invited by the China Boxing Association to attend Olympic Boxing events.
Don King had previously been to China in 2001 to promote a fight, cancelled due to injury, between Holyfield and Ruiz, where he also supported China’s winning bid for the Olympics.
Don King’s announcement from the Beijing Olympics slated a fight for November at the Chengdu National Stadium with possibilities Shannon Briggs, Andrew Golota and Jameel McCline.
