David Beckham in Beijing for Olympic Handover Day

David Beckham, a key supporter of London’s winning Olympic bid, will head to Beijing for Olympic handover day.
Leona Lewis will also help close out the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, a global-uniting sports event for the world’s heroes and champions.
Back home England will celebrate the day with a number of events, and selected charities will fly official handover flags.
It should be an excellent week for Great Britain, currently in third place overall at the Beijing Olympics.
Look out for Olympic handover day events on August 24.
