Stand Up to Cancer Raises $100 Million

The Stand Up to Cancer telethon event has collected a massive $100 Million.
The event saw presidential nominees John McCain and Barak Obama working together with countless Hollywood stars including Jenifer Anniston, Christina Applegate, Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves and about 100 music, sporting, TV and film VIPs.
‘Tonight is a historic collaboration of three networks and the cancer community,’ Jennifer Aniston said about the event.
The $100 Million raised from the Stand Up to Cancer project will go to finding a cure for cancer through translational research.
