Katy Perry is showing her commitment to charity and compassion, showing up to the MTV VMA Awards in an outfit she bought from a charity fashion show.
Katy, who walked the red carpet with Miley Cyrus, recently attracted criticism from the church for her song ‘I Kissed a Girl’ about gender experimentation, but herself grew up Christian, even releasing a gospel album in her teens under the name Katy Hudson.
In only a few months of becoming a public figure, Katy Perry has shown her heart is in the right place, by bringing attention to supporting charity and non profit causes.
