Hanson Charity Walk with a Difference
Thursday, October 16th, 2008 by magenta 0 comments to this post
The brothers Hanson have been walking around America, part of their Take the Walk Around The World Tour, but have been doing it barefoot.
Before their concerts, Hanson walk with fans barefoot to show the significance a pair of shoes has on a child.
The band has partnered with TOMS Shoes, a retailer who match every shoe sale with a donation of a pair of shoes to a child in Africa.
So far the band has walked 7,352 of their intended 24,902 miles, the circumference of the earth.
Hanson, who’s tour will come to an end in November, also use the TOMS Shoes Take the Walk Around The World Tour to promote AIDS awareness.
