Serena Williams is Back in Africa
Wednesday, November 12th, 2008 by magenta 0 comments to this post
Serena Williams is ‘back in Africa’ to open a school she helped fund together with Build African Schools and Hewlett Packard.
The former world number one tennis Grand Slam champion will be accompanied by her mother Oracene for the official opening of the Serena Williams Secondary School in Matooni.
The trip will be the tennis ace charity ambassador’s first visit to Kenya.
Serena Williams has always wanted to meet Nelson Mandela, but even after touring Africa a couple of times is yet to fulfill her dream.
