United Nations World Diabetes Day 2008
Wednesday, November 12th, 2008 by magenta 0 comments to this post
The United Nations recognise that diabetes is a serious global health threat, and World Diabetes Day will reinforce and highlight that fact.
The United Nations is calling on all nations to develop policies to treat and care for those currently living with diabetes and provide preventative measures for those at risk of becoming ill.
Globally more than 250 million people are currently living with diabetes with about seven million new cases developing every year.
Unite for Diabetes on World Diabetes Day, November 14.
