Neil Finn will spend the busy Christmas period collaborating with the likes of Radiohead, Wilco (pictured right), The Smiths’ Johnny Marr and KT Tunstall for a charity album supporting Oxfam International.
The album will feature material inspired by his Seven Worlds Collide project.
‘Seven years ago I invited a few friends and fellow musicians to do a special series of concerts in New Zealand under the banner Seven Worlds Collide. The concerts were an amazing experience for all of us and we are delighted to have found an opportunity to gather again, this time to expand the concept and the line-up too,’ remarked Finn.
Neil Finn’s charity album will be out 2009; Finn will also play a gigs in Auckland, NZ in January, tickets go on sale next week.
