Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy is the new MTV Staying Alive ambassador for 2009.

Travis will carry on the great work of 2008 ambassador Kelly Rowland encouraging young people to get involved in HIV/AIDS campaigns and helping tackle the stigma associated with the disease.

‘Staying Alive has done amazing work over the last ten years and I am really excited to be part of it all,’ Travis McCoy said as the new MTV Staying Alive ambassador.
