Sir Elton John has been busy, personally overseeing the production of a range of crystal-encrusted iPods to raise money for charity.

The veteran showbiz superstar launched the iPods over the weekend, the 1000 crystal-encrusted personal music players also feature his signature lasered on the back.

A percentage of the proceeds from the £400 iPod players will go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
