Farrah Fawcett passed away after a long battle with cancer, but she will be remembered for being charity’s angel as well as being Charlie’s.
As a survivor of domestic violence herself, Fawcett was on the board for The National Domestic Violence Hotline and spoke out openly about her experiences. She was also actively involved with the Cancer Council and documented her own fight against the disease in the film Farrah’s Story.
Although best remembered for her role in Charlie’s Angels, Farrah Fawcett was also charity’s champion and will be sadly missed.
