Simon Cowell’s Charity Song for Haiti has been released.
A number of big names, Jon Bon Jovi, Leona Lewis, Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey, Cheryl Cole, Mika, Gary Barlow, Michael Buble, Joe McElderry, Miley Cyrus, James Blunt, Mark Owen, James Morrison, Mark Feehily, Susan Boyle, Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Shane Filan, Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams (pictured top), appear on the R.E.M. cover track.
To ensure all the proceeds go to Haiti, R.E.M. has agreed to waive royalties and the government has given the record sales tax exemption.
Other recording artists, including Barbra Streisand, Jennifer Hudson , Celine Dion, Nick Jonas, Nicole Richie, Snoop Dogg, Brian Wilson, Tony Bennett, Kanye West, LL Cool J, Harry Connick Jr.,Vince Vaughn, Jeff Bridges, Natalie Cole and Pink, have as well hit the studio for We Are the World also raising funds for Haiti.
