The box office record-breaking film Avatar, starring Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver and Zoe Saldana will be released to DVD and Blu-ray on Earth Day.

Avatar recently won three Oscars at the prestigious Academy Awards ceremony earlier this month, and took in over $2 billion.

Avatar is a good fit to highlight Earth Day, on 22 April, with its strong environmental story.
