Enjoy a night of glamour at the Champion Charities: The Color Purple, a charity event. The event celebrates the west coast premiere of the Color Purple.
It is featuring a six week production in San Francisco. The Color Purple, once a movie and a Pulitzer-Prize winning novel, is a play with an all-star cast. The event kicks off with a Juke Joint Party located at the Civic Center Plaza with a spectacular VIP reception tent.
Activities include cocktails, local cooking, and entertainment for youth (ages 12 and up) and adults. Later, you’ll walk to the Orpheum Theater. The Champion Charities: The Color Purple then offers the fabulous play for all who buy the $35 tickets.
