Charity Gala Ballet in Japan

Ballerinas performed Glazunov's Les Sylphides ballet at a charity gala performance in Japan.

Dancers from all over the world, and principals from Japan, practiced points, positions and pirouettesas be part of a three day event held for four charities The Stephen Lewis Foundation, Japan for UNHCR, Africa Japan Forum and Mdecins du Monde.

Japanese luminaries, including Yoichi Kobayashi attended the event, which also included a film festival, photographic exhibition, open to the public rehearsal, ballet panel discussion, VIP champagne reception and a silent auction.

The Charity Gala Performance event in Japan was held earlier this week.
