Coldplay Earn 250K for Kids Company

British rockers Coldplay have raised over 250,000 through an online auction on internet site eBay.

The Money, 251, 482, was raised through Coldplays end of decade clearout sale, which ended on December 31st.

Among the items sold were Guitarist Jonny Bucklands Viva Thinline 72 Fender Telecaster guitar ( 50,000), and an outfit worn by Chris Martin in the bands Strawberry Swing Video.

Kids Company, established in 1996, aims to provide practical emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children and young people in London.
