Elton Sings For Michael Jackson Charity Ball

Elton Johns annual White Tie and Tiara Ball for his AIDS Foundation became a memorial as the star sang an impromptu tribute to Michael Jackson.

Elton sang a special version of Dont Let The Sun Go Down On Me when the news came that the music icon had died, to a roomful of celebrities and friends such as Justin Timberlake, Kate Beckinsale and Hugh Grant.

Like Jackson, Elton has done much for AIDS charities, and his Elton John AIDS Foundation supports programs around the world that care for those living with the disease, and those at risk.

The charity ball thrown by Elton ended as a sober affair, after party-goers heard of Michael Jacksons death.
