Next week's GRAMMY Salute To Country Music will honor Vince Gill.

Amy Grant, Alison Krauss, Steve Martin, Michael McDonald and Brad Paisley will also feature at the event in Nashville.

Vince Gill is described as being 'a true humanitarian,' who 'has been active in hundreds of charity events including his own Pro-Celebrity Golf Tournament ("The Vinny"), which supports junior golf programs in Tennessee'.

The GRAMMY Salute To Country Music event is on 9 September.
