Harry Potter First Edition

An a-list of literary first editions have been unearthed, including a Harry Potter first edition, which will go under the hammer to raise funds for Oxfam UK.

Bonhams in Oxford will hold the book auction which will also include A Study in Scarlet - Conan Doyle, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - C. S. Lewis, The Jungle Book - Rudyard Kipling and Sons and Lovers - D. H. Lawrence.

The books were discovered in boxes left at the charitys shops.

The Bonhams book auction for Oxfam GB, with a first edition Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on the block, is set for May 20.
