Although a qualified interior architect, Jrme is also a gifted and successful artist. Throughout his studies he maintained a passion for drawing, developing a unique style.

Solo exhibitions have included Paris, Cardiff and Bristol.

In this collection of work, Jrmes confident depictions of the female body are both seductive and tender. Although the softness and grace of his models are so eloquently portrayed within the lines of his pen, the marks he makes are evidence of an energetic and brisk approach to drawing.

Far from objectifying the women in his drawings, Jrme takes a sensitive and sympathetic attitude. His images are respectful observations that celebrate feminine beauty whilst suggesting something of the subjects spirit.

Through the simplicity of the drawings, and their “fragility” I have attempted to record the vulnerability of our own bodies, yet their strong presence on the paper is testament to our immense resistance to pain and diseases and the strength of our souls.

This is the French born artists debut London exhibition of a collection of pen, ink and water colour drawings entitled Stark.

The drawings are a tribute to his mother and all the men and women who have suffered from breast cancer and continue to fight the disease. 1 in 10 women and 1 in 1000 men will develop breast cancer during their lifetime.

Every drawing I make contains a thought for her, and my love for her. As well as raising money from the sale of work with this exhibition I hope I can carry on raising money for cancer charities in the future.

Proceeds from the exhibition will go to The Genesis Appeal charity to help fund research into breast cancer prevention. The Genesis Appeal is the UK’s only breast cancer charity entirely dedicated to the prevention of the disease.
