JK Rowling Donation

JK Rowling 10 Million Donation

JK Rowling has made a 10 million donation to benefit sufferers of multiple sclerosis.
The Harry Potter author gifted the funds to set up a research clinic, to be named after her mother Anne, who died from MS at age 45.
The Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic, to be built at Edinburgh University, will also conduct research into Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s and Motor Neurone Disease.
‘I cannot think of anything more important, or of more lasting value, than to help the university attract world-class minds in the field of neuroregeneration, to build on its long and illustrious history of medical research and, ultimately, to seek a cure for a very Scottish disease,’ JK Rowling said about the donation.
