John Lennon 40th Anniversary Give Peace a Chance

In honor of the 40th anniversary of the release of John Lennon's Give Peace a Chance, Yoko Ono and Julian Lennon will donate the proceeds from iTunes downloads of the song to charity.

An exclusive special anniversary edition of the Give Peace a Chance will be offered to fans, to raise funds for the United Nations Peacebuilding Commission.

'I am thrilled that so many in the music business are readily supporting 'Give Peace a Chance' on its 40th anniversary... It is indeed a time when we are all getting more aware of the necessity of doing something to achieve world peace, no matter how small,' Yoko Ono said.

John Lennon's Give Peace a Chance 40th Anniversary edition will be available to download until 31 December.
