England cricket captain Andrew Strauss has made a dream come true for a boy suffering from a Brain Stem Tumour through Make-A-Wish.
Eight-year-old Liam joined Cricketers on field for the coin toss, and was presented with a signed bat and a set of official England cricket whites.
Liam said he was really excited about meeting the England cricket team. I had one of the best days ever. I nearly touched the wicket with my foot!
Liam is just the first lucky Make-A-Wish cricket mascot, all season kids and young people with life-threatening illnesses will have the opportunity to meet the England cricket players.
