New Zealand Hopes for Oprah Winfrey Help

New Zealand officials are hoping to plead their case to heavy hitting celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, for fundraising help for New Zealand after the tragic earthquake.

"We are going to speak to well-known international talk show hosts, maybe Letterman or Oprah Winfrey, those kinds of people."

There was no mention of talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, who consistently supports charities, and often has people on to talk about their causes.

When Oprah Winfrey called for support for Australian flood victims, reportedly an extra $20 million in donations were made, New Zealand is hoping for a similar result.
