UNIFEM Goodwill Ambassador Nicole Kidman has joined Mallika Dutt in America to support the call for the US to actively pursue an end to violence against women.

'Violence against women deprives countries of a critical resource in the struggle to end poverty and attain stability,' UNIFEM Ambassador Nicole Kidman said when she testified on International Violence against Women: Stories and Solutions.
