On her show this week, in the last ever season, Oprah Winfrey announced she'll be shutting down the Angel Network charity, with a $6 million donation.

The donated funds will go to charter school programs across the USA six schools will each receive a million dollars.

Oprah has proven herself a generous benefactor before, the talk show host topped the biggest givers list, donating more money to charity than the following four givers combined.

Oprah Winfrey's $6 million donation announcement is part of a two-day focus on schools and education.
