President Clinton Breast Cancer Fund

Former US President Clinton joined friends to support the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund

Former US President Clinton was out campaigning with friends for the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund earlier this week.

He joined Barbra Streisand, Brooke Shields, Sharon Stone and Cheryl Woodcock at the Beverly Hills home of Paula and Sumner Redstone (Viacom Executive Chairman), to speak about breast cancer awareness.

In his address for the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund, he spoke openly about his late mother and shared his affinity with Barbra Streisand, revealing that she and his late mother had had a strong-bonded friendship and that Barbra and Virginia had regular weekly chats on the phone.

I want you to know something she called my mother once a week for one solid year until she died. And I will never forget that.
Breast Cancer is the most common form of cancer to occur in females, and according to the World Health Organization it is the leading cause of cancer related death among women worldwide.

The Breast Cancer Coalition's next event will be the Second Annual STRIKE! Breast Cancer Advocate Challenge, a friendly local Washington DC bowling tournament on April 28.

The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund supports the Virginia Clinton Kelley Fund, a fund formed after former US President Clinton's late mother.
