Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day, Armistice Day and National Holiday of Independence

November 11 means many different things to many different countries, Remembrance Day, Armistice Day, Poppy Day, Veterans Day and the National Holiday of Independence.
The day generally marks the end of the Great War (World War I), but for most people it also signifies and honors those who fought bravely for their countries and for people who suffered more than anyone could ever imagine in subsequent wars.
To support the brave men and women who gave their lives in service, buy a poppy, or attend or observe the many Remembrance Day services going on around the world.
