UYWEFA Championship Cup in Uganda

UYWEFA is involving the business community to create a fundamental change in education.

Uganda Youth and Women’s Effort Fighting AIDS (UYWEFA) is organizing a football tournament to involve the business community in efforts to create awareness about educational opportunities in Kazo. The Champions Cup Tournament is scheduled to begin on the 9th semptember  2013. The tournament will include a group stage of 24 games followed by quarterfinals, semifinals, third place game and the final. We are currently planning to hold the final after the conclusion of the third term to celebrate the tournament and the conclusion of the educational year.

This tournament is intended to raise awareness about the educational needs and current shortcomings in Kazo. The issue of children not attending school is a growing problem in Kazo; walking around Kazo on a school day you can easily see the number of children who are not in school. As a community we can help to address this by working to provide more assistance to at risk children and families. This event will create partnerships between schools and the business community to address this issue.

UYWEFA is inviting you to be a part of this exciting event. We are looking for sponsors willing to contribute to making a successful tournament

We look forward to working with you.
